May 26, 2021 ·  Audeze LCD-GX is the most versatile genre headphones with amazing detail, liveliness and sound volume. Juicy, rolling and collected bottom is especially prominent on heavy compositions. The intelligibility of the sound is emphasized by live recordings, which not every headphone can pull out.

The headset unit itself is completely removable from the cables and each earcup connects via a 4-pin mini XLR connector and comes with one standard cable without the microphone and the boom mic cable.

Jan 21, 2020 ·  The Audeze LCD-1 Planar Magnetic Headphones were released in late 2019 at $399 / £399 / AU$649. That no doubt sounds expensive, but compared to the original LCD-2 that cost $799 / £599 / AU ... 

Dec 19, 2019 ·  The Audeze LCD-1 are decently stable on the head, and only move slightly around the ears when you shake your head. While they're unlikely to fall off during light movement, they may not be the best for more strenuous workouts. Overall, however, these headphones are designed for use around the house, where their stability shouldn't be an issue. — 

Feb 11, 2021 ·  Additionally, the Audeze Penrose supports Audeze HQ, the desktop companion app previously reserved exclusively for the the Audeze Mobius. Audeze HQ is a little less cluttered with the Penrose, as there’s no Waves Nx 3D audio feature this time—all it offers is EQ customization, game and chat mix adjustments, and a monitoring toggle.
