While checking these servers, we also used geolocation libraries and ping checks to confirm their real locations. Expect speeds to slow over longer distances and in particular Malaysia can be very slow.

KeepSolid’s privacy policysays it does not collect or log any user activities on VPN Unlimited, but it does keep some information. It collects the total amount of web traffic for each session and the dates of those sessions. This data is then displayed to you inside the VPN apps. The company says it may also collect your KeepSolid user ID, connection attempts, connection types, encryption types, and device type. KeepSolid says it will use this data “strictly for technical purposes.” That’s an OK privacy policy, but there are other VPN services that retain far less data (if any). Still, KeepSolid isn’t the worst when it comes to privacy either. KeepSolid is based in the United States and the Ukraine, and its CEO and founder, Vasiliy Ivanov, is publicly identified.
