The Reflect Flows have a longer battery life than their predecessors, at ten hours from the buds themselves and 20 more via the case. The whole lot can go from empty to fully charged in about two hours. The case itself is somewhat disappointing, though. It’s too big to take with you on a long run, and while the black and silver brushed plastic (also available in teal and silver) won’t show up fingerprint smudges, the silver coating in our sample begins to rub off slightly after only a few days of being carried around. The buds are circular, comprising a branded central button with silver sides and coloured detailing around the driver housing, which is visible through the translucent fins and tips.

The pairing of the Reflect Flow, which supports Bluetooth standard 5.0, takes place automatically with removal from the case, by switching the system on and putting it into pairing mode. The headphones can also be returned to the charger to switch them off. Alternatively, the buttons integrated into the surface can be held down for a long tap to switch them on and off manually. Since the right headphone functions as the master, it can also be used in single mode. If there is a connection, the right-hand side is used to control the Play/Stop function and to accept and end calls. These can be made with clear speech intelligibility. Supported speech assistants such as Siri, Google Assistant and Bixby can also be called up by pressing twice. In addition, you can jump to the next title by double-clicking on the left; otherwise, the button activates the TalkThru and Ambient Aware functions. Volume control is therefore not available and must be carried out either on the device itself or vi... 

JBL Reflect Flow Review Summary The JBL Reflect Flow is a great pair of earphones that have an excellent balance and build. It has an impressive sound profile that suits all genres so that anyone can use these earbuds. The earbuds look a bit bulky, but they’re stable and comfortable, making it perfect to use while working out. 

The JBL REFLECT FLOW is more than just an outdated version of the JBL LIVE 300 TWS: the former is IPX7-rated, so it may be submerged to depths of one meter for up to an hour at a time. A blocky charging case provides an additional 2 charge cycles to the earphones for approximately 30 hours of playtime before topping the case up.

The first thing to notice about the Cambridge Audio Melomania 1 headphones is their design, and they’re pretty interesting in that respect. Both the headphones and the charging case are built from a gray plastic reminiscent of classic computers, but it’s not a bad look. There’s no access to advanced latency-free technology like AptX, but in general, connection experiences are great. 

Coupling these wireless headphones is done immediately when you open the case, they offered above-average ranges of up to twelve metres in combination with various iOS and Android devices. At the same time, the system is switched on and it is automatically put into pairing mode. Returning them to the charging case causes them to switch off. The JBL Live 300TWS are very well-made true wireless earphones with a good balance between excellent quality and a comparatively easy to digest price. Sound-wise, there’s not much to complain about with the JBLs, and you get pretty much everything you could want – except for more hi-fi-friendly codecs and automatic noise reduction. 

JBL Live 300TWS has great sound, a sound no one expects from in-ear headphones. The low is full and dynamic, with no dominance in the middle area - given that the equalizer in the Headphones app is flat.

The Razer Nari headset looks like someone stacked two headsets together and called it Ultimate. Seriously, though, I wouldn't be caught dead wearing this in public. For one, I look like an absolute fool wearing it, as dictated by the relentless Tom's Guide staff. Secondly, this thing slips and slides around my head even if I just turn to face another direction. And where I could normally find room in my travel bag for my HyperX Cloud II, I couldn't for the Razer Nari Ultimate, so I reluctantly wore them around my neck. Thankfully, the ear cups can swivel 90 degrees, so they didn't choke me to carry around. The size of the headset is mostly due to its built-in haptic technology. Aside from the size, however, the headset is pretty slick. The auto-adjusting headband is wrapped in a sleek aluminum frame that leads down to a plastic gray frame surrounding the ear cups. This headset comes in at a substantial 15 ounces, and it looks like they stacked two headphone pads on top of one another on each side. It’s massive – so huge that I would never wear it to the office or outside. I’m guessing the size is due to the haptic technology, but at least the cups swivel 90 degrees, so it’s not a pain to pack them in a bag. It has an auto-adjusting headband that is wrapped in a sleek aluminum frame. The auto-adjusting headband fits my head surprisingly comfortably, but the headphone does have a bad habit of sliding up and down my head. The size being what it may, the earphones themselves are pleasantly soft. They don’t feel uncomfortable at all. I’m sure the cooling gel has a role to play here. So apart from being heavy, Razer has done an excellent job at keeping the headphones very comfortable to wear.

The Razer Nari does not come cheap, and retails at a price point of RM 719. Regardless, if you don’t mind spending extra for the sake of its respectable performance, comfort, and features, this headset is still a desirable product for Razer fans and those who desire the higher end of gaming peripherals.

Unless you’re regularly sharing earbuds, the UVnano charging case isn’t much to gloat about, but the sound quality is great for consumers looking for relatively accurate audio reproduction. 

Available in black or white models, the Tone Free HBS-FN6 earpieces are AirPod-like stems with capacitive touch controls on each ear. They ship with three pairs of hypoallergenic silicone eartips (in S, M, and L), and the fit is quite secure. A USB-C charging cable of generous length is included and connects to the back of the small, circular charging case. The case has a flip-up lid and internal blue “mood lighting” (the manual’s wording). The interior is also armed with UVnano technology to kill germs while the earphones charge—a unique feature indeed. An IPX4 ratingis decent, but not impressive. It means the earpieces can withstand light splashes and perhaps a wipe-down with a damp cloth, but exposing them to heavy rain or pressure from a faucet could spell trouble. The on-ear controls are responsive, and are sensibly divided ear to ear. ﻿ Of course, sound perception is going to be different from one person to the other. This review will focus on how I perceived the sounds coming from the LG TONE Free HBS-FN6. I’ve reviewed several other pairs of in-ear headphones, over-the-ear headphones, on-ear headphones. I have a pretty good hearing, and I do enjoy my music. My music selection is typically limited to EDM. From highs to lows, I’ll be able to pinpoint how well these perform.

Its “go-go-gadget” implementations and quality features like antibacterial UV light, wireless and USB-C Charging, IPX4 Water-resistant and a superb app with customizable options offer a whole lot more than other earbuds in the market. 

First things first, there’s design, and that’s where LG’s Tone Free can look a little what happens when an AirPod marries an earphone, delivering an earbud-style device with a silicone tip. It’s a pretty basic look, but one that’s not altogether uncomfortable, with LG providing a few variations of tips in the box, and whichever one matches your ears best delivering a somewhat comfy experience, even if the stalks are quite small all the same. They arrive in a very small circular case that is very pocketable, something earphones don’t always see, which itself can be charged wirelessly, handy if you’re someone who typically relies on wireless charging overall.

Apr 18, 2021 ·  LG. It’s probably just us, but ‘Tone Free’ doesn’t sound the most inspiring or even positive name to give to a range of headphones. It sounds like a euphemism for ‘tone deaf’. 

Taking the LG TONE Free true wireless earbuds out of the box reveals the earbuds housed within a circular charging case. Our device came in the “Stylish Black” variant, and the case features a matte-textured feel for the exterior. It is just one of two colour variants that you can choose for the earbuds, the other being “Modern White” which uses a gloss finish instead. It’s aesthetic is very much reminiscent of a compact makeup case, even with how it opens, with its clam design opening the lid upwards to reveal the earbuds. I appreciated that it allowed me to open the case with one hand. Something a little annoying though, is the experience of putting the earbuds back in the case. The magnets in the case aren’t particularly strong, so if you place the earbuds back in a casual manner, the earbuds sometimes don’t get set in the case correctly, eventually leading you to manually adjust the placement.
