Mar 10, 2021 ·  The Logitech G935 is without a doubt a very “gamer” looking gaming headset. It’s made primarily of plastic, with large angular headphones and decorative grooves carved all over it. LED lights run along the back of the headphones, as well as through the Logitech G logo on the sides. 

The G935 is fairly large, as wireless headsets go, at 7.4 x 7.7 x 3.4 inchesbut not prohibitively heavy at 13.4 ounces. Like the G933, it features a black plastic chassis that is partially matte and partially shiny. Geometric patterns adorn both the ear cups and the headband, giving it a distinctly gamer vibe without going over-the-top. The squarish earcups set it apart from a more traditional pair of headphones, but I didn't find them to be any better or worse for their unusual shape. I give the G935 some props right off the bat for hiding its USB dongle under a magnetic cover in its left earcup. (Wireless dongles are almost guaranteed to get lost if you don't have a sensible place to store them.) Like most other Logitech headsets, the G935 also features a well-hidden, retractable microphone in the left earcup, which is incredibly easy to store when not in use. The back of the left earcup has a power switch, three programmable buttons, a mic mute button and a volume control dial....

The first thing to notice about the Logitech G935 is its design, and it’s clearlybuilt for gamers. The headset is super bulky, and it’s built from a black plastic. That said, while it is plastic, it doesn’t necessarily feel cheap — we never felt like the headset would break during use. The headset is pretty angular. The ear cups have a rectangular shape, and there are buttons lining the back of the left ear cup that follow that design style. Even the retractable microphone curves up to a point at the end. Buttons aren’t the only thing you’ll find on the left ear cup. The ear cup can actually be opened, which is where you’ll find the wireless dongle. There’s also a power button, a volume wheel, an aux port for wired use, and a MicroUSB port for charging. We would have liked a USB-C port here. It offers more customization due to the Turtle Beach Audio Hub software and are slightly better sounding than the HyperX. They also come with an AMP to amplify the sound, and it offers an easily accessible volume knob. 

Judged solely on the headset, the Elite Pro 2 is a thing of beauty. The physical design is identical to theTurtle Beach Elite Atlas, the Elite Pro 2's PC-centric cousin. That means you get the same elastic/steel hybrid headband design along with plush ear cups, removable speaker plates and plenty of notches to find your ideal fit. You can also create small channels in the ear cups to accommodate your glasses with Turtle Beach's novel ProSpecs technology. So far, so good. The headset also features a detachable boom mic, a detachable 3.5-millimeter audio cable and a mic mute button halfway down said cable. My only issue here was that it's mislabeled — and that's fairly important. One side of the cable has a small jack, for use with the headset, while the other side has a large jack, for use with the amp. The Razer Nari headset looks like someone stacked two headsets together and called it Ultimate. Seriously, though, I wouldn't be caught dead wearing this in public. For one, I look like an absolute fool wearing it, as dictated by the relentless Tom's Guide staff. Secondly, this thing slips and slides around my head even if I just turn to face another direction. And where I could normally find room in my travel bag for my HyperX Cloud II, I couldn't for the Razer Nari Ultimate, so I reluctantly wore them around my neck. Thankfully, the ear cups can swivel 90 degrees, so they didn't choke me to carry around. The size of the headset is mostly due to its built-in haptic technology. Aside from the size, however, the headset is pretty slick. The auto-adjusting headband is wrapped in a sleek aluminum frame that leads down to a plastic gray frame surrounding the ear cups. This headset comes in at a substantial 15 ounces, and it looks like they stacked two headphone pads on top of one another on each side. It’s massive – so huge that I would never wear it to the office or outside. I’m guessing the size is due to the haptic technology, but at least the cups swivel 90 degrees, so it’s not a pain to pack them in a bag. It has an auto-adjusting headband that is wrapped in a sleek aluminum frame. The auto-adjusting headband fits my head surprisingly comfortably, but the headphone does have a bad habit of sliding up and down my head. The size being what it may, the earphones themselves are pleasantly soft. They don’t feel uncomfortable at all. I’m sure the cooling gel has a role to play here. So apart from being heavy, Razer has done an excellent job at keeping the headphones very comfortable to wear.
