Its design offers amazing ergonomics thanks to a curved board, split-key layout, and negative-angled feet. The Pro Fit Ergohas an unusual, intriguing design. The housing is a glossy black ABS plastic, with a matte, vented finish on the inner edge. It’s just over six inches long, roughly four inches wide, and a touch over three inches high. It’s designed for medium-sized hands, but people with larger hands will also find it to be comfortable. That said, users with very small hands might find the distance from the buttons to the trackball a bit of a stretch. One thing that really makes it stand out is that the surface is steeply angled at 60 degrees. The idea here is to keep your hand in a comfortable, natural position. If you hold your hand out in front of you, as if you’re shaking someone’s hands, you’ll notice that it’s angled. A traditional mouse, in most cases, requires you to hold your hand out flat, which can get uncomfortable. This is particularly true if you’re using the mouse continuously for an extended period. The outside of the box features a large photo of the XPG summoner with its RGB lights on and the magnetic wrist rest attached. Icons on the box depict additional features such as the media controls, USB pass-through port and included replaceable keycaps. The back of the box provides a further breakdown of the keyboard and the materials used in its construction such as the sandblasted aluminum frame and 100% Cherry MX mechanical switches. The keyboard is well protected inthe box with foam padding on both sides, locking it in, ensuring no unintended movementor damage during shipping. But, for any advantages it may have in gaming, it falls apart outside of gaming. The HVER Pro X may go for the same Brown-style key switch feel as the Pro RGB, but it’s not as consistent.
