At a glance, the Acer Chromebook Spin 514 looks like a regular, slim Windows laptop. However, it has a more premium look with its metal chassis and silver colour than the cheaper, basic Chromebooks you’re likely used to sending your kids off to school with. The edges of this Chromebook are nicely bevelled, and the Acer logo is raised slightly on the lid. On the left edge of the Chromebook are a USB-C/power port, USB-A port, 3.5mm headphone/microphone jack, MicroSD card slot, and the power button. The right edge has a Kensington lock slot, another USB-C port, a second USB-A port, and a volume rocker. Flipping the laptop over, you’ll see some ventilation slots on the bottom, four rubber-like feet, and dual down-firing speakers.
