I tested the maxed-out version of the Predator Helios 700, which runs for $3,999 and comes outfitted with an Intel Core i9-9980HK processor, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 GPU with 8GB of VRAM, 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. The midrange model costs $2,499 and drops you to a Core i7-9750H CPU, 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD. Even if you want to save the most money, the base model will run you $2,199, and that'll drop you to an RTX 2070 GPU from the midrange model. The Acer Predator Helios 700 itself; Appearance. The Acer Predator Helios 700 is a rather hefty machine. At first glance, it looks similar to the Triton 500, albeit with a 17-inch display and looks like it put on a few pounds. The body is made mostly out of plastic, which is surprising given its price.
