Long story short: Looking for an upgrade from 2019 Amazon Fire 10 HD as something that is a good step up, but not TOTL (which is overkill for my needs). I became turned off from Samsung after my old Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 keep going into a reboot loop forever from Android 8.1 to 9. My $400+ device became a lightweight...which I am pissed. Semi avoiding Samsung over this experience since.

For the record this ISN'T my first fire tablet. I started out with a fire 7, then 8, now the 10.

However, even with the others I still didn't really like them!

Kindle Fire HD 10 for $99 + bluetooth keyboard is a great remote working setup on a budget.

So I've had the Fire HD 10 (2021) for a while as mainly media consumption device in addition to my iPad which I use daily. At first it was a horrendous experience as the Amazon Appstore just did not have the apps I need for any entertainment and except Netflix and the usual Amazon services. Not even YouTube. I followed a YouTube tutorial to have Google Play installed and it worked great.
