Jan 30, 2020 ·  The Fujifilm XF 16-80mm F4 R OIS WR is a new weather-resistant, standard 5x zoom lens for Fujifilm's X-series mirrorless cameras. The Fuji 16-80mm lens offers an angle-of-view range similar to that of a 24-122mm lens in a 35mm system and features a constant maximum aperture of f/4 throughout the range. 

The Fujinon XF 16-80mm F4 R OIS WR was paired and tested with the Fujifilm X-T3 for this review In terms of size, it’s much more compact than the Fujinon XF16-55mm f2.8 R LM WR. It’s 215g lighter too and at 440g on the scales it offers a perceptible weight advantage. The optical configuration sees 16 elements arranged in 12 groups. 

With the XF 16-80/4 R OIS WR Fujifilm offers a general purpose standard zoom that covers the popular range of 24 to 120 mm (FF equivalent). It offers a moderate but constant f/4 aperture throughout the whole zoom range. With this lens, Fujifilm fills a gap that existed before, even though they offered several standard zoom lenses already. 

Fujifilm's Fujinon XF 16-80mm F4 R OIS WR has been out for a while, but early scarcity means it has taken us a while to get a full production sample for review. It’s a really interesting standard zoom for Fujifilm X-mount cameras, and for a number of reasons. Fujifilm has now made five standard zooms for its X-series cameras. 

Mar 30, 2021 ·  The Fujifilm Fujinon XF 10-24mm F4 R OIS WR is the update to the Fujinon XF 10-24mm f/4 R OIS. It has the same optics but it gains an uprated stabilisation system and weatherproof seals to make it more suited to use outdoors in harsh conditions.
