Personal linux laptop suggestion for daily use

I have a HP ZBook which is working super well for me. Has an ATI GPU. Haven't needed any hacks, all the hardware has worked trouble free. I upgraded to a 2 TB SSD, the marginal cost over smaller sizes was quite insignificant.

Great multi tasker

I wish I upgraded to one with higher screen resolution since the base one isn't the best.

Overall works wonderfully. I run multiple design and 3D programs at a time and it functions well. The fan is pretty loud once I start rendering, but still runs smoothly.

Do take a look at the hp zbook power g7. Well built and with a 3 year warranty (in uk). And look for uni discounts -Dell and hp provide the best per my knowledge.

A dream machine for anyone

Wow I'm blown away with a quality of this PC, it's just stunning and just a Dream machine for professionals, the screen in my opinion is waaaay better than my sister's MacBook Pro, the performance is ridiculous fast, this will be my loooong haul PC for years!

Laptop for 3d modeling

HP Zbook run well I use them with Autodesk inventor. If your are sub 500 parts at a time the. 32 Gn ram would work

We were under the impression that this laptop had a touch screen based on the product reviews that we watched and read. It does not have a touch screen so we will be returning it.
