I have a JBL Link 10 in the bathroom. Has great sound, works off battery, also supports Bluetooth so you could use it camping etc, waterproof (although I don't have it in the shower itself). It also works as part of a speaker group so when my morning routine kicks in and the radio starts and I go to the bathroom, just turn it on (takes about 30seconds to boot up) and it automatically joins in with the speaker group.

I just bought a JBL Link bar, I know not the most flawless product. I followed the setup process and all worked well, but it didn't listen to my "Hey google" commands, so I decided to factory reset it from the menu. But now after the factory reset I keep running into an issue during setup where it says "network_name can't connect to internet". If gives me this error with WiFi as well as with ethernet.

I got a JBL Link portable. It stays on it's charging base on a bookstand near the backdoor. I just grab it whenever we are spending time in the backyard.

Overall the speaker is great, lightweight, and very easy to set up. Was able to test the party feature and it worked great. Would recommend it if you are looking for a reasonably priced portable speaker that gives good sound.

Honestly my JBL Link was better although the Roam has better sound. For example, at the airport yesterday I had the speaker near me and was watching my show.
