A little slow while getting the apps and the websites started back again once you bring it back from the sleeping mode.

It also starts getting heated up if you have like 15ish tabs open on the window. Even my previous laptop with weaker specifications didn't do that and this one is brand new stil...

It's around $600 and easily competes with $1000 laptops. I'd not worr about devices like the flex 5 and stuff when this exists. If thinkbook isn't available for some reason look into the ideapad 5 at Costco it's for around $500 and is usually priced around $600-700 so that's great value as well. Don't get the flex 5s and what not those have crap build.

I loved the laptop in all features. Super light, expensive look, processor, display all great. Only disappointment was camera and video chat. The screen flickered during chat continuously when the camera was on, not sure if this was just my laptop. Returning my laptop for this reason.

I’ve got the thinkbook 13s g2 with 4800u. It’s a small chassis with a single heat pipe and dual fans.

Good is performance, but the fan is way too loud for my hearing comfort. Maybe better cooling system.

The laptop is a great device for everyday computing for personal use - all email, social media, documents. It is also very good and effective for an occasional compute-intensive task like audio or video editing. Great sound output quality and excellent screen and display.

I have a ThinkBook 13s gen 2 (AMD) and it's really awesome. Metal build, a good 16:10 screen, 16 threads, 16gb and an sn550 512gb iirc. Pretty cheap for what it is as well.

Fan is noisy. Video streaming sometimes lags behind the audio by a few seconds, especially after pausing and replaying. Keyboard layout isn't convenient. Battery life is way shorter than advertised; I get maybe 4 hours out of it. Touchscreen is not sensitive enough. I have a 6.5 year old Yoga 2 Pro ...
