If you're familiar with the Moto Z series, the Z4 won't seem like much of a departure. From the front, it looks pretty similar to its predecessor, the Moto Z3, with a few exceptions. First, the display is slightly bigger, at 6.39 compared with the Z3's 6.01. The bezels have been reduced as well, thanks to a teardrop camera notch on the top of the phone and no branding on the bottom. Overall, the phone measures 6.22 by 2.95 by 0.29 inches (HWD) and weighs 5.82 ounces. Flip the phone and you'll see that Motorola has opted for a more durable aluminum back, as opposed to the Z3's glass. Otherwise it's mostly unchanged. There's the same circular camera stack toward the top of the phone, above the Motorola logo, and two rows of pogo pins at the bottom for attaching Moto Mods. The top of the phone holds a SIM and microSD card slot, while the bottom is home to a USB-C charging port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
