May 27, 2021 ·  The Sigma fp L is the world's smallest mirrorless camera with a 35mm full-frame image sensor. At its heart is a back-illuminated Bayer CMOS sensor with 61 effective megapixels, housed in a rugged, fully weather-proof, die-cast aluminum alloy body that weighs just 375g (5g more than the original fp model).

From the outside, the two cameras are identical, so that the Sigma fp L has the same compact, rectangular shape with a fixed rear screen and a switch on the top for swapping between Cine and Still modes. The Sigma fp concept is odd but intriguing.

It has an okay shooting speed that's hindered by the small buffer size, meaning that long burst shots may be interrupted. It also has a poor autofocus system that struggles to keep moving subjects in focus, although it does a better job with inanimate objects.
