Jul 11, 2019 ·  The Sony WH-XB900N are pretty comfortable for long listening sessions, and their sound quality is decent and can easily be EQ’ed to your liking. Unfortunately, their ANC feature is quite disappointing and might not offer the best value. 

These are lightweight for on-ear headphones (254g), which is especially important if you intend to use them for travel. Ample memory foam padding on the headband and ear cups make it easy to wear these comfortably for hours at a time. Airflow isn’t great and this can lead to a damp experience in warm environments. Thanks to the same shape, they sit comfortably even for longer periods of time, the battery life is excellent and the handling is surprisingly good despite touch controls.

Their pads are ultra-soft and squishy, there’s enough room for your ears and Sony has discovered the magic ratio for headband tension. 

The Sony Extra Bass WH-XB900N low-latency Bluetooth headphones sound good and effectively cancel noise, and you can crank the bass up with the phone app. They also support Google Assistant and Alexa.
