The X-Pro3's images are very good for APS-C but sensor performance hasn't improved so much that it can catch up to the relatively modern sensor in the D750. At any given exposure, the D750's sensor will have the chance to capture 2.3x (1.22EV) more total light than the X-Pro3's does.

It replaces the X-T100, a camera that seemed promising when it was announced, but whose sluggish performance was a letdown. Thankfully, Fujifilm has put a lot of work into making the X-T200 both more responsive and full-featured.
