 It's even worse than a $60 ANC headphones I bought on Amazon. Just disappointed.  [Volumn] The volume is not enough. Trust me I'm not someone loves to play the music to shake the car door

 I really don't like sound signatures like Bose's or Sony's ones, Bose's sound is not natural and Sony's is too bass-heavy. These 85h are a bit treble emphasized and the base may not be powerful for most of the people. It might make your ear fatigue after a long time listening because it's not something like Sennheiser's warm sound signature. But I'll take it, I like the sound

Great sound, great design and quality, But with deal breakers.

 It connects and appears as two devices in the Windows 10 bluetooth interface but they both appear as "other devices" rather than audio devices and no amount of finagling can make them pass audio. I will update if I can resolve this, or if a future headphone firmware / bluetooth driver update resolves it for me.  I live in the PNW and bought these due to their rated water resistance. I am mostly a pedestrian / transit commuter and it rains here often and unpredictably for much of the year

  I'll be using these with the 3.5mm jack on my PC and with bluetooth on my phone. And in the meantime, I'll be eagerly watching to see if any other manufacturers adopt water resistance in the future.  addenda:  ☙ Comfort is overall good, but the clamping force is a little bit high and caused me minor wear fatigue after a couple hours

 My only confirmation that Jabra is even aware of this issue and has committed to *not* supporting general PC use is based on a Jabra official account Reddit post, of all places. At the very least they should mention the caveat on their product pages and/or offer official support on one of their own dongles (they don't, though users have apparently gotten it working).  I'll be using these with the 3.5mm jack on my PC and with bluetooth on my phone

 The EQ isn't terribly sensitive (to my ear maybe a 1.5 or 2 dB swing either way) so feel free to crank it in whichever direction if you want to make a non-trivial difference. ☙ The sound signature is pretty natural. It reminds me most of my Sony MDR-V700

I bought these for the gym and I don’t like them at all. The sound is good but they don’t fit tight enough on my head and I have a big head. Also the way they fold up to turn off really sucks. Not worth the money

I've had these for a couple weeks and have thoroughly enjoyed them!  UPDATE 9/10/19: Newest Firmware update has added AAC codec support  Pros: - Comfort. The headband is completely unnoticeable on your head, the ear pads are nice and soft, but can heat up a little quicker than some other headphones I've used. Clamping force might be a tiny bit more than others, but I never found it uncomfortable - Build. They feel solid, the hinges where the ear cups fold is metal and don't feel flimsy

 The low profile physical buttons are nicer to use than touch controls and are intuitive. - Sound. These have a very balanced audio profile, nothing is overpowered. You can change the EQ to boost bass, treble, etc

I would give them 4.5 if it was an option

 They fit me comfortably, whereas the other options (Sony and Bose, mainly) did not fit me as good. ANC on the Jabra's is pretty damn amazing to me.

I mainly use it while working from home, listening to music, watching movie and also light pc gaming so basically long hours in front of the screen. Wireless is a must because I move around a lot at home. Looking to use it for a good 4 years before needing to replace it. Since the 12.12 deal is coming soon, I figure it’s better to invest in a headphone as I don’t want to disturb my family while I’m working from home.

Currently looking at the Sony WH1000-XM4 but I’m open to suggestions. Also looking at the Audio Technica M50xbt but those are geared towards more to audiophiles? I’m open for any suggestions or owners reviews, thanks guys :)

I bought them to wear while on my mower but I get interference when it is in the noise cancellation mode. Asked what I could do about it and they basically told me to reboot everything, no difference. Very disappointing

I'm generally wearing my headphones for a minimum of 2 hours daily, and these start to hurt in the first 45 or so because the soft material underneath the headband is so small. Their ANC performance is sub-par too, blocking only hissing noises. I really liked their sound for their price and that's why I bought them but I kinda regret that now.  
Found out Jabra Elite 85h's last week for the same price with my HD 450BT's, and I'm thinking of returning them back in favor of Jabra. So here are a couple of questions as I couldn't test them in the stores because of the COVID19.

\- How comfortable are they?  
\- Is ANC good? (I've seen reviews and they mostly claim that it's below average when compared to Sony and Bose, but HD 450BT's are compared to lower cost headphones so don't have a direct understanding of how they compare)  
\- Can they be used in passive mode? (Without using battery)  
\- How is the sound signature? (I'm leaning towards a flat one with clear tones)  
Also how good is the build quality? I'm looking for a minimum of 2 years usage and used fabric headphones before. They didn't last that long, ended up  with bulges in their headband.

I fully expect to make it to the 1 year anniversary of when I bought these and I've only had functioning 85h headphones for 9 out of the 12 months, and whatever replacement I receive I doubt will last more than 3 or 4 months... Totally unacceptable for MSRP $250 and a company that wants to be taken seriously with the big guys in sound quality

 Buyer beware. TL/DR: You may save some money when the Jabra 85h go on sale from time to time, but that difference in cost when compared to other high end ANC headphones is not worth the hassle/reliability issues.

Warning! The Jabra 85h are pathetic and won't last longer than 3 months.

 Speaking of the app, it's amazing compared to Sennheiser. You can control noise cancelling, EQ, track your headset location, change call noise background (big gripe with the other set). Not to mention the white and nature noise options in app.  Audio quality is about as good, I'm not an expert

  I think for me, where $200 was the line for a new set of decent BT over ear headphones with some noise cancelling, usb C charging, and decent controls, this set is the right pair. I'd need to go to $300-$380 to get the high end Bose set I also liked or a Sony set that is very well reviewed. I think I'll keep this set for a bit.

 While typing this review there was a moment where it kicked in and I could not hear my keyboard at all! Slick. Also, this has a common feature for calls where it pipes in surrounding audio so you can be aware of alerts or how loud you are talking. But, this can be turned off in app and you can change the audio level in real time to better suit your ambient noise. Huge upgrade from the other set there

Probably the best $200 NC headphones

  The one issue I had was that a few months ago, I think a wire got slightly loose in the left earphone and sometimes when I put them on, I got static. Jabra had me try some basic things like a firmware update to rule out software issues, but once that was done, they had me send back the defective headphones and have replaced under warranty. I'm a little concerned that they developed that issue in their first year, but Jabra took care of it and that's all I can ask.

I bought these and have used them both with my phone / tablet when on an airplane and as my primary gaming headset plugged in to my computer. The quality is everything my ears are capable of appreciating. I typically use these in hear-through mode at home so that I can still hear my dog getting into trouble while remaining immersed in a game. Other noise-cancelling headphones that I've tried create a weird pressure on my ears that I hate, but when I have used that mode on these Jabras, it's been mild enough to not cause that
