Similar experience. I rate Bose customer service highly, right up there among the very best. I’m new to the Bose ecosystem as a buying customer. I had a Bose QC 35 ii which I got as Google Pixel 5 offer. Unfortunately, I started having some problems with the turn off button recently and I reached out to Bose Customer Care for a solution.

I was being suggested to apply for a replacement as my headset was well within the warranty period. From the creation of the support ticket to the replacement headset delivery, it just took 5 working days.

Kudos to BOSE support team. You've just made a customer very happy!

I am impressed by the BOSE Support

To be clear, these don't pass sound with  bone-conduction technology like some new audio sunglasses do (AfterShokz OptiShokz Revvez glasses are due out this spring). There are  actually tiny speakers in each arm along with a microphone near each temple.&nbsp; Technically, Bose says the Frames are its smallest audio system ever.   

 While that platform is still in development with apps arriving later this year, Bose has released the Frames with a more straightforward, limited mission: They're sunglasses that are "enhanced with Bose technology to play music and take calls." Available in two styles for $200, they're initially on sale only in the US.

 And most people will be surprised by how loud they can play, though they start to distort at anything higher than 60 to 70 percent volume, so you won't want to listen to them cranked to the max, with music anyway.What's cool is that, even though they sound loud to you, they leak very little sound, so people around you can't hear your music or who you're speaking to on a call. Bose reps told me their engineers learned from working on the company's earlier horseshoe-shaped wearable, the SoundWear Companion Speaker, and were able to reduce the amount of sound leakage in the Frames as a result.They do work well for making calls

 or contactsBattery life isn't great. Bose says that at average listening levels,  they run up to 3.5 hours for playback and  up  to 12 hours on standby,  and can be fully recharged in less than 2   hours using a proprietary  pogo-pin cable that adheres magnetically. A pretty swanky protective case is included along with a cleaning cloth that's also a storage pouch for the proprietary charging cable -- don't lose the cable or you can't charge your glasses

Bose Frames review: Audio sunglasses that sound surprisingly good

Both are pretty poor on battery life playing music and seem to last about two hours. I don’t think one is significantly better or worse. 

Neither is fantastic, but the Bose speakers reproduce music much better than the Amazon speakers. I’d give the Bose Frames 5/10 and the Amazon Frames 2/10. The Amazon speakers have no bass at all and are very tinny. The Bose have some bass and are decent

 Period. But the 5 star review is for the Bose Frames, not the lenses.  As for the glasses, the sound is really excellent. I prefer it to earphones because it's more like being in a room with speakers, you can hear people and waves crashing and it's just nicer

 I don't really feel like calling Bose again for another replacement, and the current replacement does work (if inferior to the first 2 pairs).  The battery life, at least for now, was ok (if they aren't turned on, the battery remained at 100% for hours, it's only playtime that runs the battery down). Of course I am concerned that over time the battery life will decline, and it does not appear the battery is replaceable.  Biggest concern is that it's quite easy to lose a pair of sunglasses.

GlassesUSA lenses don't fit

The Tempo&rsquo;s sporty build is, like most exercise-focused sunglasses, designed to be lightweight, aerodynamic, and fit securely. To be clear, these aren't in-ear earphones, nor are they really headphones. Think of them instead as personal speakers that sit very close to your ear and output audio just like a small speaker would&mdash;those nearby will be able to hear it, but not as loudly as you will. 

95 Bose Frames Tempo are focused on sports, and with the rise of virtual training, it&rsquo;s not far-fetched to imagine them catching on in ways the original fashion-focused model didn&rsquo;t. From an audio standpoint, the Frames deliver crisp, clear sound that allows you to hear your surroundings with ease, though bass still isn't their strong suit. There are clear improvements here, but most of them address the overall fit and usefulness of the design rather than the audio experience.

 There was the typical Bluetooth distortion fuzzing up the edges of words, but the audio was particularly crisp despite this, and the overall mic signal level was strong. Communication with a solid mobile signal shouldn't be an issue with the Frames Tempo.

 There are clear improvements here, but most of them address the overall fit and usefulness of the design rather than the audio experience.

nice as a gift.  Wish the volume would get louder and pumpier bass.  They are also tight on face but Very well constructed.

Durable but needs more bass and volume

 the plastic is light for how bulky the glasses are, and they twist and flex alarmingly. The lenses are not polarized (at this price point they should be ) and have some optical aberrations around the edges - they are basically cheap pieces of plastic and not lenses. I do not believe they have any coatings whatsoever and it looks like no effort was put into making them capable as a pair of sunglasses - the glare reflected on the inside makes them almost unusable. I've had $20 walmart fishing sunglasses outperform these

 The highs are thin and anemic. In any environment outside of an anechoic chamber they will be lost to outside noise. The bass is completely non-existent. Listening to Orbital's Kein Trink Wasser you get no electronic synth, and no bass

 And Bose elected to leave out 85% of the smartphone population of the world for even that. So in summary: Good: They are designed to fit a human head. Bad: Poor optical quality, poor build quality, and poor audio quality (unless you're the type of person that thinks listening to music via your phones speakers is great quality). The augmented reality is a flat out lie

 And these deliver on almost every one of those points. Audio separation and staging is surprisingly good. On par with mid-to-low-end studio headphones - think Sennheiser HD280 Pros (which cost half as much). But that's where the positives end

A product without a purpose.

 Definitely recommend these in terms of quality and ease of use - just need to determine if it’s worth the price for a bit of a niche item.

Perfect for walking outdoors!

 And it's solid, not too easy or too hard to push. And my wife and I tested calls which were surprisingly good.  And connection seems fairly far, equals H1. Could be a nice thing for kicking back on beach paired to just Apple Watch with phone and precious AirPods hidden in car

 First, they sound surprisingly good considering. Or I should say better than I anticipated. Second, many of us carry headphones and sunglasses anyway. Eliminates a device

 Really fat sunglasses. But they make noise!"  I cranked Audible and my daughter, while sitting next to me, said she couldn't really hear the narrator. Or she heard something but couldn't make it out.  Then my phone crashed and soft reset itself

  Third, they're not quite as private as I would hope. While my wife had them on I had her crank the tunes. When I'm next to her I can mostly hear the high frequencies. They're unintelligible and lower in amplitude than I would expect considering how loud it is for the wearer, but it is disruptive and potentially awkward (a lot less so than open cans though)

Proprietary charging cable and slightly too much bulk killed them for me, but they're so close!

 After 6 months they quit working so I sent them in for Warranty service and had them back refurbished and working great in a week or so. Again they are working great. And warranty service was excellent.
