Samsung Galaxy Buds Live vs HyperX Cloud II Wireless

If you’re worried about bass, don’t be. So long as they’re in your ears right, the Buds Live can kick out plenty of oomph on the bottom end. These sound excellent and just what I’d hoped for considering the $170 price.

The fact that these are wireless is such a convenience! I've been playing the aforementioned games and had to use the bathroom only to hurry back because I heard footsteps approaching or some other alarming sound haha It's really been a lifesaver. Besides games, being able to go get a drink and still hear my show has been nice too. I'm sure there are better headsets out there, but these seemed good for the price and after a year and a half of near constant use I'm still very happy with them. The sound is really great (sorry, don't really know how to describe these things yet) and totally different to my previous headsets. I owned the HyperX Cloud II and some no-name amazon headset and I'm glad that I switched. I was really suprised what open-back really mean. Currently I only have the headphones, so no dac/amp or anything (yeah, shame on me, sorry for that) but I'm looking forward on buying a proper interface, since I'm also going to buy a microphone

the good thing is the battery life is good, not the best, but good for most. around 6 - 8 hours without noise cancelling on. The connection however, is not good. a lot of the time it has syncing issues when connected to my windows computer, usually put them back in case would solve the problem, this problem is quite frequent that it would annoy you quite a bit

They swivel in all the necessary directions for a good fit, and a comfortable drop around the neck, but they don't fold or anything, so they're best when they stay at the desk, rather than in transit in a bag. The battery life is fantastic. It's rated at 30 hours, which means that I can go a week or even longer without charging these headphones, even when each day I'm using them for 6 or so hours. This may be due to the battery saving auto-shutoff that they have, or it could be that HyperX underestimated their own batteries

I'll start off by saying I'm a huge fan of Samsung products. I've been using their Galaxy phones since the S5, we have their fridge, and now this ear bud. But I gotta say, Samsung should stick with their phones and other products because these earbuds doesn't really stand up against other name brands and some of the even knock-off, low-budget earbuds.
