As the Super Nt does with the Super NES, the Mega Sg does an excellent job of evoking the design of the Sega Genesis without simply being a miniaturized version of it. It's a simple, black rectangular plastic box that measures 1.9 by 6.5 by 5.4 inches (HWD). It doesn't look or feel cheap; its matte black finish is attractive, and at 1.13 pounds the system certainly feels solid. A glossy black plastic semicircle around the top panel evokes the classic Genesis aesthetic, surrounding the cartridge slot and holding the power and reset buttons at the bottom point of the curve. Depending on where you grew up playing Sega games, one of the three Mega Sg versions will hit your nostalgia button hard.
