Solid camera, performance, and battery life. 

The Oppo Reno 2 clearly won’t be the best camera phone you can buy, after all, it lacks the 5x optical zoom of the Oppo Reno 10 X Zoom and Huawei P30 Pro, doesn’t feature OIS on the telephoto camera and its 4K video recording can’t quite beat the best out there, capping out at 30fps. That said, it could well be the best budget camera phone. 

The Oppo Reno 2 ships with a very comprehensive package that includes a high-quality case, a pre-applied screen protector, as well as a headset in the box. Additionally, the phone ships with a VOOC 3.0 charger and accompanying USB-C cable, as well as the usual quick-start guides. 

The Oppo Reno 2 is a stylish enough smartphone, if a bit on the bland side – there's nothing really to make it stand out in terms of its looks, unless you're counting that 'shark fin' style ...

The Reno2 seems to bridge the gap between the original Oppo Reno and the Reno 10x zoom rather nicely. Compared to its predecessor, the Reno2 is a clear upgrade in many minute ways.

If you’re uninterested in what Google are offering with the Pixel 3aor don’t mind walking away with a slightly-inferior camera, the Reno2 Z is basically the best mid-tier phone you can buy right now. For the $599 price-tag, you get bucketloads of value in the form of a snappy processor, powerful and versatile (if occasionally unreliable) quad-lens camera and a solid two-days of battery life. After an exhausting 2018, the Reno2 Z sends off 2019 in a way that embodies the best parts of Oppo’s approach to tech.
