Great, when they work...

I've had these for about 2 months now, and they replaced another pair of Beats, which replaced yet another. Overall I love these headphones - sound quality, ease of use, not falling out of my ears when working out. But, the charging case s**ks. I've read people think its too big - I'd be okay with it being larger if it would consistently CHARGE THE HEADPHONES

I liked your review man, honestly i still have a pair of powerbeats pro for working out, but I'm definitely looking to trade those in for something else, can't say I'd want more beats tho, i want more of a sound improvement with goodish anc to just disguise the noise around me so i don't have to pump the volume so much... and honestly I'm thinking about waiting for some neko cake reviews lol, if they are good enough, i just might catch those lol

So far seems inferior to Amazon Buds 1st gen

I have to re-pair (which is a chore because you have to touch both Sony Buds at the right place for a long time). Several times I've been about ready to give up and run without music, but then I finally get it to work. With my Amazon buds, I never had this problem. (2) Noise Cancellation modes are really confusing: When you tap to change modes, the announcements are "Ambient Sound", "Ambient Sound Control Off", and once in a blue moon, it will announce "Noise Cancelling"

4.5 Stars - Great, but not perfect

The right still had 20% - maybe using the touch controls for playback a lot causes quicker battery drain? Along with battery levels, charging from the case also seems on the mark. After the earbuds died, I threw them in the case and left for a quick walk. 20 minutes later, my right earbud went from 20%->100%, and the left from 0%->70%. Excellent imo, this more or less means I can just recharge my earbuds whenever I have a brief conversation with a coworker and never have to worry about the battery dying on me

This was the worst problem. I've had this problem happen twice in the last month and a half. One of the earbuds would not pair and sound would only come out of the earbud that was paired. I had to switch back to my other pair of wireless earbuds that I previously had until I figured out how to solve this problem

Beats PowerBeats Pro. These are the best AirPods for most people that are not called AirPods. Combine 9-10 hours of battery out of the case with actual excellent, balanced sound, mix in a stable and comfortable fit, and you've got the perfect set of true wireless earphones for most people.

A short review, if you're trying to decide on buying this...

3) As for the fit: these are not going to fall out or slip (unless someone walks up to you and physically tries to pull them out). The fit is perfect. (See my notes further down for the "comfort") 4) I've rarely had problems pairing. I've used these nearly every day for a year and a half and have rarely had pairing issues with the iPhone

I found these buds very easy to pair using the NFC that is located on the charging case and they continue to pair with my phone quickly and often before I'm even finished adjusting the buds in my ears. While comfort can be a very personal thing and varies for everyone, I find these to sit well in my ears for long periods and have a good seal which is extremely important for the noise cancelling to be effective.

Durability

More of a 4.5 than a 4

5 than a 4 but I’ll give it a 4 since I can’t do half scores. I bought these when I started working out and notice that my AirPod Pros were not able to stay in my ears at all when running, jumping, lifting, etc. My ears are fairly large so that might have to do with it… anyways. I did the whole “buy attachments for the AirPods” thing but it was becoming a hassle taking the attachment off putting it back on and it was just a pain

When it works it's amazing.

The active noise reduction and audio pass-through both work wonderfully considering the size of the earbuds. I can easily forget that I'm wearing them, partly thanks to the memory foam ear tips, but the shape and weight of the buds are still amazing. However, I wish the performance of these earbuds could be more stable/reliable. During walking, connection between either earbud might get disconnected and I would not hear sound from one of them

Great for running

I really have liked these. I know they have been out for a while, but the price was right. I need something that has ear support as the buds fall out of my ears on runs. These are great, they never move and I simply forget about them as I know they are not coming out

PROs: Great price point I love these for listening! The sound quality when paired to my iPhone or Mac is phenomenal! The noise-cancelling helps me focus on the task in front of me with ease. The Sony Headphones app is very useful and makes the headphones very configurable. The plenitude of ear tips makes them very comfortable. They have a small profile
