The Fujifilm GFX 50R is boxy by design but surprisingly light. I have mixed feeling about the look of the Fujifilm GFX 50R. It looks pretty wide and bulky at first glance, but with continuous use, I started to see less difference in the appearance and handling when compared to smaller Fujifilm X Series counterparts like the X-T3.

The Fujifilm GFX 50R is a rangefinder-style mirrorless camera with a 51.4 megapixel, 43.8mm x 32.9mm medium-format CMOS sensor. The GFX 50R is smaller, lighter and cheaper than the original GFX 50S camera that was introduced back in 2016 - it's 25mm thinner, 145g lighter, and costs £1K/$1K less than the 50S.

Full review. Fujifilm’s GFX 50R follows the GFX 50S (which was unveiled in January 2017) and shares many of the previous model’s components. The 43.8 x 32.9 mm, 51.4-megapixel CMOS medium-format sensor is common to both cameras and it lacks a low-pass filter in front of the sensor to ensure the maximum potential sharpness.

When it comes to its ergonomics, the A7 III features Sony’s latest generation mirrorless body design which brings it up to date with its siblings: the A7R III and A9. The refinements to the controls and design make the A7 III appreciably easier to handle than the A7 II. The camera fits nicely in the hand, with an improved grip size making it much more comfortable to shoot with, particularly when using larger lenses. Perhaps just as important, the larger grip size also leaves more room for Sony’s enhanced Z-type battery which when used alongside the A7 III, offers the longest battery life seen on a mirrorless camera to date. Measuring 127 x 96 x 74 mm (5.0 x 3.78 x 2.5 in) and weighing 650g (22.93 oz) including battery, the A7 III is a bit bigger than its predecessor but remains highly compact when compared to a full-frame DSLR camera body.
