Sound Quality

JBL UA True Wireless Flash X Review

Bill Callahan’s “Drover,” a track with far less deep bass in the mix, gives us a better sense of the UA True Wireless Flash X’s general sound signature. The drums on this track sound almost thunderous—there’s some serious bass boosting happening here, but the drivers manage to avoid going into wildly unnatural territory. Callahan’s baritone vocals also receive a healthy dose of added low-mid richness, but thankfully, there's plenty of added high-mid- and high-frequency sculpting in play, too. The result is a bright, crisp sound signature anchored by some truly powerful bass depth

Great, when they work...

I've had these for about 2 months now, and they replaced another pair of Beats, which replaced yet another. Overall I love these headphones - sound quality, ease of use, not falling out of my ears when working out. But, the charging case s**ks. I've read people think its too big - I'd be okay with it being larger if it would consistently CHARGE THE HEADPHONES

UA True Wireless Flash review: Excellent totally wireless sports earphones with only one flaw

They sounded well-balanced, with fairly natural sounding mids and meaty bass that's pretty well defined (read: not boomy). You're dealing with Bluetooth streaming so you're not going to get as clean or detailed sound as you would with a good pair of wired headphones, but most people should be pleased with the sound quality.

Amazing Wireless Earbuds

This was the worst problem. I've had this problem happen twice in the last month and a half. One of the earbuds would not pair and sound would only come out of the earbud that was paired. I had to switch back to my other pair of wireless earbuds that I previously had until I figured out how to solve this problem

Comfort

Don’t stay in my ears - not for long/hard running

I liked the idea of these ear buds but I can’t for the life of me get them to stay comfortably in my ears. For context, I am an average adult male, I don’t usually struggle with things not fitting me. Key thing to emphasize - I’ve tried all the various sizing customization pieces included with the buds, but I can’t get the right ear bud to stay securely and comfortably in my ear. To be clear, with the wrong fit these will fall out my ears without even moving, and with the best fitting combination I can get them to mostly stay but they are extremely uncomfortable (borderline painful in that my ear is moderately irritated/sore after wearing them a few hours)

A short review, if you're trying to decide on buying this...

3) As for the fit: these are not going to fall out or slip (unless someone walks up to you and physically tries to pull them out). The fit is perfect. (See my notes further down for the "comfort") 4) I've rarely had problems pairing. I've used these nearly every day for a year and a half and have rarely had pairing issues with the iPhone

JBL UA True Wireless Flash

The JBL UA True Wireless Flash are great sports headphones that stand out thanks to their good audio reproduction and their rugged build quality. They're versatile for a wide variety of music genres, are sweat-proof and waterproof, and their bulky design feels durable for most intense sports. Their fit is good and fairly comfortable, on top of sealing off ambient noise, making them well-rounded for most everyday uses. Unfortunately, they won’t be great for watching videos due to their very high latency, and some may feel like four hours of battery life isn’t enough for a single charge

Beats PowerBeats Pro. These are the best AirPods for most people that are not called AirPods. Combine 9-10 hours of battery out of the case with actual excellent, balanced sound, mix in a stable and comfortable fit, and you've got the perfect set of true wireless earphones for most people.

Noise Cancellation

Now that I've figured them out, I like them!

I couldn't believe how low but thankfully discovered I had enabled a "slight mute" feature that allows you to speak to others without stopping your music. Once I enabled that then, woah, these things sound great! So yes the sound quality is excellent (once properly fitted!) and these things really do perform well. I did give it an average score for noise cancellation because there isn't any active noise suppression, it's just noise is blocked by the inserts in your ear. My only complaint at this point is that there is no volume control on them

Beats Fit Pro: Not just "Good for Beats," but a genuinely good TWS IEM (Plus comparisons to AirPods Pro, WF-XM4, others)

I liked your review man, honestly i still have a pair of powerbeats pro for working out, but I'm definitely looking to trade those in for something else, can't say I'd want more beats tho, i want more of a sound improvement with goodish anc to just disguise the noise around me so i don't have to pump the volume so much... and honestly I'm thinking about waiting for some neko cake reviews lol, if they are good enough, i just might catch those lol

It's absolutely awful. These are low volume, medium quality for a high price. Don't buy them.

Great for running

I really have liked these. I know they have been out for a while, but the price was right. I need something that has ear support as the buds fall out of my ears on runs. These are great, they never move and I simply forget about them as I know they are not coming out

Battery Life

Some of the best ear buds I have ever had

They are amazing the battery life last me about a week in a half and most of the time I just charge it on my way to work. Having the usb c for charging works out great with me using Android. The noise cancelation works so good I gotta take it out to hear what someone is saying . Only thing I wish it had was an app to adjust some of the sound controls

Beats Powerbeats Pro review: Bulkier than AirPods, but with better sound

However, it does charge via an included Lightning cable, which is better than Micro-USB. However, the Powerbeats have some advantages over both, including much better battery life

Durability

Perfect for the Gym

I use them for roughly an hour every day and so far I haven't had them die in a month (I always put them in the recharging case after use). That's around 30 hours of use and the charger is still at 50% remaining power. They were super easy to connect to my android via Bluetooth. The range on them is so good that I have left my phone at previous weightlifting stations more times than I can count

More of a 4.5 than a 4

5 than a 4 but I’ll give it a 4 since I can’t do half scores. I bought these when I started working out and notice that my AirPod Pros were not able to stay in my ears at all when running, jumping, lifting, etc. My ears are fairly large so that might have to do with it… anyways. I did the whole “buy attachments for the AirPods” thing but it was becoming a hassle taking the attachment off putting it back on and it was just a pain
