It is really cool to play around with the liftoff distance setting and see when the sensor stops tracking on my mouse mat, because I've used that mouse mat for years and there are certain depressions that I'm guessing have been made because of my hand whenever the mouse Goes over those sections, there's no tracking or it's very, like kind of jerky, and that is because the sensor is picking up the unevenness of that really flat mouse mat and that's pretty incredible. SteelSeries Rival 650 - The Heavyweight Wireless Mouse!

The shape of the mouse is also well thought-out, and the rubber grips do the job on the Rival 650. When I tested Gigabyte's Aorus M5 gaming mouse not long before, it slid out of my hand more easily than it should have under normal use. Grippiness is fine here, though. The Rival 650 feels more comfortable in my hand than the Aorus M5, the texture does not slip, and the mouse felt quite secure in my hand

Logitech omits the cable altogether on its G903, making it a true wireless gaming mouse. The PMW3366 sensor used by Logitech in the G903 tops out at 12,000dpi, and the mouse also supports wireless charging. No RGB LEDs on this one, nor removable weights, and handfeel will be a matter of personal choice here. But the difference in feature set is quite extensive

SteelSeries Rival 650 Review

GREAT MOUSE FOR FPS (OVERWATCH)

 The big dealbreaker was the input delay. Compared to the Logitech Pro Gaming mouse I'm using (Hero 16k) it seems as though this mouse has a decent amount of input delay. That becomes intolerable after using it for a bit. Where the pointer doesn't seem to have input delay, the mouse clicks do

 So the cursor moves on a click shot, that's a no-no.  That wasn't the dealbreaker for me. The big dealbreaker was the input delay. Compared to the Logitech Pro Gaming mouse I'm using (Hero 16k) it seems as though this mouse has a decent amount of input delay

I bought this and used it for gaming and definitely enjoyed it. I then decided to buy the Steelseries Rival 650 and I liked that one a lot more. I think the weight of it (heavier) did it for me and the clicks feel a bit nicer. I kept both and now use the 503 for work and have it as a backup for gaming, but I'd recommend the Rival over this for sure

 A smaller back is ALWAYS better for gaming mice. For me it's no issue, but may be for some.  The mouse you use can be very subjective, like the issue in the last paragraph. If your mouse is a big decision for you, I'd suggest trying some out at a local retailer, so you know what feels best for you

 It feels good, and the dpi switch helps if you feel like you need two sensitivities for more than one activity, like gaming for instance.  The buttons click reliably and easily with little pressure, making this a great operating mouse. The mouse wheel only scrolls and clicks, no side to side, which helps. It doesn't feel loose and wiggly, it's firm and the click is straight forward and reassuring, unlike even some other high end mice

 That said, once charged even with the flashy lights kicking, I can still get a gaming session that last hours upon hours with it.  The mouse glides really smooth, unlike any other mouse I've had the past 20 years. It feels good, and the dpi switch helps if you feel like you need two sensitivities for more than one activity, like gaming for instance.  The buttons click reliably and easily with little pressure, making this a great operating mouse

Overall Good Gaming Mouse

 Eventually, I came to the conclusion that the front of the mouse was too wide for me  As much as I liked G403's technical performance, I decided I needed to find a more comfortable mouse. After a lot of research, I decided to try the Rival 310 specifically because of its narrower front dimensions. Overall, I was probably 95% satisfied with the Rival 310. Given its overall comfort and narrower front end, I noticed I did aim better with it than the G403

This is my journey as a CSGO player with 19cm by 10.5cm hands.  I came from using the Logitech G403 for over a year. I liked everything about the G403, especially the feel of the clicks and its light weight

  3. The right and left sides of the mouse, due to the silicone, is super smooth, but both sides are tapered upwards, resulting in a slippery, difficult time whenever I try to lift the mouse. I have to pinch it harder than I'd like to, and over a session of gaming, my hands get really tired. This is further is exacerbated by reason 2

Rival 600 vs 310

 In the event that this replacement scenario plays out soon (and successfully) I will update my review accordingly. Until then, one star (should be zero) stands.  *original*  Six months in and the rubber fingertip grips on the sides of the mouse are peeling up. I assumed they were co-molded components of the side body in keeping with the premium price point of this device, but it turns out they're just rubber pads glued to the plastic, and that glue starts to melt with body heat

 I appreciate this information, but if they take more than 6 months to do it I'd have to pay, and in the meantime I just have to live with it. Still not an acceptable situation at this price point, but at least they acknowledged it was an issue. In the event that this replacement scenario plays out soon (and successfully) I will update my review accordingly. Until then, one star (should be zero) stands

Overall, the best work mouse we've tested is the Logitech MX Master 3. Visually, it looks sleek and professional, and it feels very solid and sturdy in hand. It has a comfortable right-handed shape with soft-touch latex covering for extra grip. There's also a large thumb rest that has a hidden button that enables gesture controls.

It has two separate scroll wheels made of solid, knurled metal. The top scroll wheel is almost silent, and you can set it to automatically switch to a faster free-scrolling mode when you scroll past a certain speed.
