It’s hard to imagine a home decor, backpack or personal taste that the Tribit Audio Stormbox Micro couldn’t merge in with happily. It's the size of a stack of drinks coasters, with a soft-feeling charcoal fabric jacket covering the upwards-facing half of the speaker. The bottom half is rubberised, with two buttons for power and Bluetooth pairing on either side of the rounded bottom edge, looking from above. In between these are a mic and a display of six LEDs for connectivity and battery status. On the right edge is a waterproof USB-C charging port. On the underside, lying flush between the Stormbox Micro’s four rubberised feet is a neat little stretchy strap you can unsnap to sling over a bike handlebar or tent pole. Tribit StormBox Micro – Review and Test Bluetooth speakers are mobile and provide music indoors as well as outdoors. Tribit takes flexibility literally with the Tribit StormBox Micro speaker and offers a compact, square speaker with a practical strap. 

The StormBox Micro BTS10 fits in the palm of my mid-sized mitt and I can still wrap my fingers around to the back. By the numbers, it’s about 3.8-inches by 3.8-inches in the X/Y, and 1.4-inches in the Z. It weighs a mere 10.2 ounces, sports a 9-watt amp, and the latest Bluetooth 5.0 for extended range. If indeed you need that with a speaker that’s meant to remain close at hand. The BTS10 is rendered in black with a bass port on the back that’s largely responsible to the unit’s thump. Also on the back are four rubber feet to elevate the unit and let said thump radiate, as well as a tightly bound strap that allows you to lash the speaker to a handle-bar, backpack strap, or what have you. Controls consist of plus/minus and multi-function buttons on the faux fabric top; with power and Bluetooth pairing buttons, plus six status LED indicators, on the side. The first thing you’ll notice when you remove the StormBox from the packaging is its small, slim silhouette. It is a slender little device and at only 7.08 x 2.68 x 2.68 inches its footprint is minimal wherever you decide to place it. The main body of the speaker is covered in a familiar black speaker mesh, with the Tribit brand on the front, nestled neatly below the large control buttons. There is a “volume +” and a “volume -” button, represented by their respective mathematical symbols in white rubber. There is also a multi-function button between the two. Each button makes a satisfying click so you know you’ve activated it. The multifunction button has a number of operations depending on the gesture you use. Play and pause is controlled by a single click of the button. To skip to the next track it is a double click, while a triple-click will play the previous track.
