I have a JBL Link 10 in the bathroom. Has great sound, works off battery, also supports Bluetooth so you could use it camping etc, waterproof (although I don't have it in the shower itself). It also works as part of a speaker group so when my morning routine kicks in and the radio starts and I go to the bathroom, just turn it on (takes about 30seconds to boot up) and it automatically joins in with the speaker group. Loud but not amazing quality but its fine for outside where you have background noise. Connects really well.

I've had sporadic success getting the lock to pair by instead adding it through the Home app and *then* viewing its HomeKit settings in the August app. When I'm able to get this far, the lock state seems to be successfully communicated to the Home app (sends notifications when locking, unlocking, etc).

The only thing I dislike is the price, however it is an apple product and you are also getting a really good quality device and speaker so take of it what you will.

I solved this using the EQ on Spotify. Furthermore, while the bass sounds good by default I know it can do more, so I set the EQ accordingly. The other thing is really quiet songs at higher volumes reveal a really soft background static from the internal amplifier. This flaw is more than likely inherent to non-grounded amplifiers or ones without room for extra circuitry that can minimize it (but it seems pretty minimal already, so don't worry about this)

It produces a more punchy bass to me than the HomePod Mini. Now, when turned up to max volume, the HomePod Mini doesn't seem to produce any distortion...
